Joshua Gimbel Joins Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP
MILWAUKEE - Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP today announced the addition of attorney Joshua Gimbel. The Milwaukee firm was founded in 1968 by Josh's father, Franklyn Gimbel.
Formerly a partner at Michael, Best & Friedrich, Josh Gimbel's practice focuses on commercial and corporate litigation, as well as land use and zoning, real estate and municipal law. Josh also represents developers and individuals in special and conditional use permit approvals, zoning changes, and developer agreement negotiations.
"I have a pragmatic, results-driven philosophy for my clients - a trait I learned from my father, and an ethic that permeates GRGB," said Gimbel. GRGB to Sponsor ALS Evening of Hope
Milwaukee, WI - The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP has announced that they will be sponsoring the Wisconsin ALS Association's Black Tie Gala, the Evening of Hope. The event, which began in 1993, will be held on March 24, 2012 at the Hyatt Regency in Milwaukee. The Evening of Hope enjoys an average attendance of over 500 people and features silent and voice auctions, dinner, speakers and dancing.
The Evening of Hope was the brainchild of Jeff Kaufman, a former partner of GRGB, who succumbed to Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, in March 2010. Kaufman, who battled the disease for 21 years (80% of those with ALS die with five years of diagnosis), led the charge in raising funds for ALS research along with his wife Jan, working tirelessly to organize and plan the Evening of Hope event.
The lawyers and staff at GRGB have been a part of the Evening of Hope since the event's inception in 1993. "We knew we had to be a part of this event and help Jeff with his fight. The GRGB family fought alongside him during his long and courageous battle with ALS, and now we fight in his memory," notes Kathryn A. Keppel, partner at GRGB and President of the ALS Association-Wisconsin Chapter.

The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP has announced that they will be sponsoring the Wisconsin ALS Association's Walk to Defeat ALS. The Milwaukee event, will take place Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Greenfield Park.

The Milwaukee Walk to Defeat ALS is one of several such events that take place in the State of Wisconsin along with approximately 165 walks nationwide, each year. The combined efforts all of these events have raised over $137 million, towards ALS research since the year 2000. The three mile Milwaukee Walk to Defeat ALS starts at 10:00 a.m., with the check-in starting at 8:00 a.m.
GRGB's Kathryn Keppel Recognized for Outstanding Community Service

Keppel received for"Outstanding Community Service" from Centro Legal, an organization that provides affordable legal services to low-income individuals in Milwaukee.
Ms. Keppel, who is a partner at GRGB, recently represented a Centro Legal client who was a victim of domestic abuse in a complicated appellate matter. She devoted over fifty (50) hours of pro bono time in responding to motions and briefs filed by the client's incarcerated former spouse.

The Evening of Hope planning committee anticipates over 700 people will attend the event featuring silent and voice auctions, dinner, speakers and dancing.
The 20th year promises to be a truly special event. Special guest Steve Gleason will be appearing via Skype. Gleason, a New Orleans Saints Special Teams standout, is best known for blocking a punt that was recovered for a touchdown in the Saints' first home game post-Katrina. After his ALS diagnosis in 2010, he formed Team Gleason, dedicated to raising ALS awareness

Dall'Osto Elected to State Bar of Wisconsin Board of Governors

Dall'Osto has served on the Board since April 2010.
As a member of the Board of Governors, Dall'Osto and the other Governors work together with the State Bar President and officers managing and directing the State Bar of Wisconsin.
Dall'Osto's position on the Board represents a continuing commitment on the part of the GRGB to serve not only their clients, but also the community as a whole. Luczak was elected President-Elect of the Milwaukee Young Lawyers Association. Luczak will hold the position of President-Elect for one year (July 1, 2013 - June 30, 2014) at which time he will assume the role of President for the next year (July 1, 2014 - June 30, 2015).
In his role as President-Elect, Luczak will serve on the board of directors under the current President. He will be asked to assume the role of President from time to time during his "elect" year in preparation for taking on the role of President in the preceding term. "We encourage our young attorneys to take on leadership roles such as the one that Jason will be undertaking," notes Franklyn Gimbel, Founding Partner at GRGB.
