Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown LLP Welcomes Attorney Zak Wroblewski To Their Civil Litigation Group

Milwaukee, WI — — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm of Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP (GRGB) is pleased to announce the addition of Attorney Zak Wroblewski to the firm’s litigation team. Zak graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2022 and before joining the firm, represented clients in various criminal and civil legal matters at a small firm in Milwaukee. Zak is admitted to practice in Wisconsin.

While attending law school, Zak served an internship with the Honorable Brian Hagedorn of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. He also clerked for a large local personal injury firm, where he assisted the firm’s lawyers in representing injured plaintiffs. Attorney Wroblewski will be coaching the Wagner Moot Court Team for Labor and Employment Law in NYC and up until recently, was active in the city of Milwaukee working as the “Bernie Brewer” mascot for the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Mission of the Health Law Section is to bring together members of the State Bar who have a special interest in the fields of health law; to participate in the presentation of educational seminars in such fields through meetings, programs and publications; and to provide networking opportunities for Section Members.

    Attorney Adam J. SchleisMilwaukee, WI — — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP (GRGB), is pleased to announce the addition of Attorney Adam J. Schleis to the firm’s criminal defense, guardianship, and juvenile group. Schleis joins the team after seven years with the Wisconsin State public Defender’s Office. Adam’s practice expanded beyond just criminal defense and included work in juvenile, mental health, guardianship, child protective services, and family law. He represented clients from the pre-charging stage all the way through jury trial and has substantial litigation and trial experience.

    Attorney Schleis coached high school mock trial for two different schools in his spare time. He also spent four years volunteering with the Big Brothers Big Sisters “Mentor 2.0” program where he mentored the same student all the way through high school. He was named an “Up and Coming Lawyer” by the Wisconsin Law Journal in 2018.

    Attorney Jack D. McNally to the firm’s civil and fiduciary litigation team. Prior to joining the firm, John served as an Assistant City Attorney in Milwaukee, focusing on business licensing litigation and claims against the City.     While attending law school, Jack was a Summer Fellow at the Milwaukee Justice Center, providing assistance to self-represented litigants navigating the court system. Jack was inducted into the Pro Bono Honors Society as a result of his community service efforts.

    Attorney Franklyn Gimbel Awarded “Witness To History” Award By The Milwaukee County Historical Society

    Attorney Franklyn GimbelMilwaukee, WI — — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP (GRGB), is proud to celebrate the “Witness to History” Award presented by the Milwaukee County Historical Society to Founding Partner Franklyn Gimbel.

    The award was presented at the Society’s 69th Annual Award’s Diner on Wednesday, May 11th, at the Pfister Hotel. The Witness to History Award is presented to those who have played a significant role in shaping and documenting our community’s history.

    Frank started practicing law in 1960 after graduating from Marquette University Law School (from which he also won the Lifetime Achievement Award in 2015) and soon became one of four assistant U.S. attorneys in Milwaukee. He prosecuted the local head of the Mafia for tax evasion and won a conviction. Attorney Gimbel established GRGB in 1968 and has tried 200 jury cases over his legal career. He has had multiple homicide cases with acquittals in several. In 1988, he argued a case in front of the United States Supreme Court, winning a reversal and establishing a new rule of law for asserting entrapment as a defense in a criminal case. Frank served as the lawyer for the Milwaukee Deputy Sheriff’s Association for 31 years and negotiated many contracts on its behalf. In addition to his law practice, Frank has always been community-minded. He served on the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission and served as Chairman of the Wisconsin Center District Board that oversaw the construction of Milwaukee’s first Convention Center. Frank also served as President of both the Milwaukee Bar Association and the State Bar of Wisconsin as well as the local Milwaukee Rotary Club.
