Milwaukee, WI — — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm of GRGB Law (GRGB) is pleased to announce that they have promoted three Associates to the position of Partner. They are Russell J. Karnes, Nicole M. Masnica and Kristen N. Nelson.

Russell J. Karnes joined the firm in 2016. He has a diverse civil litigation practice focused on real estate, property tax assessment appeals, contract and business disputes, quiet title actions, foreclosure and title insurance litigation, misrepresentation claims, collection actions, and municipal law. He also assists clients in their business, estate planning and real estate transactions.

Nicole M. Masnica spent nine years representing countless individuals in all stages of criminal litigation at the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office before joining the firm in 2019. As a State Public Defender, Nicole represented the defense perspective on both the Waukesha County Drug and Alcohol Treatment Courts. In addition to traditional criminal work, Nicole has helped clients in termination of parental rights proceedings on appeal, pursued civil writs of habeas corpus in both state and federal court on behalf of Wisconsin inmates, and has argued before the Wisconsin Supreme Court.

Kristen N. Nelson was a solo practitioner in private practice, specializing in criminal and health care defense before starting with the GRGB team in 2018. She has represented clients before the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services, the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families, the Wisconsin Department of Hearings and Appeals, Wisconsin State Courts and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

GRGB Law Welcomes Attorney Zak Wroblewski To Their Civil Litigation Group

Milwaukee, WI — — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm of GRGB Law (GRGB) is pleased to announce the addition of Attorney Zak Wroblewski to the firm’s litigation team. Zak graduated from Marquette University Law School in 2022 and before joining the firm, represented clients in various criminal and civil legal matters at a small firm in Milwaukee. Zak is admitted to practice in Wisconsin.

While attending law school, Zak served an internship with the Honorable Brian Hagedorn of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. He also clerked for a large local personal injury firm, where he assisted the firm’s lawyers in representing injured plaintiffs. Attorney Wroblewski will be coaching the Wagner Moot Court Team for Labor and Employment Law in NYC and up until recently, was active in the city of Milwaukee working as the “Bernie Brewer” mascot for the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Shepherd Express started the Best of Milwaukee contest back in the early 1990s and remains the city’s largest “best-of” contest as ranked by the number of voters. All winners are selected by people of the city.

GRGB Law Announces Recognition Of 2022 Super Lawyers And Rising Stars

GRGB Law Celebrates 55th Anniversary

Milwaukee, WI — — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, GRGB Law (GRGB) is proud to announce that the firm is celebrating its 55th Anniversary in 2023.

In 1968, after arguing some of the most high-profile cases of the day as a federal prosecutor for the Eastern District of Wisconsin, Franklyn M. Gimbel founded the firm. Gimbel states, “It gives me a sense of great pride that the law office which I started 55 years ago, following a 5-year stint as an Assistant US Attorney, has grown and matured into the vibrant offices of today’s GRGB Law.” Frank continued saying, “We have 23 attorneys with unique skill sets including academic accomplishments, commitment, community service and a track record of many successful outcomes for our clients of every economic, ethnic and vocational background.” Attorney Gimbel finished by stating, “Our moto and goal continues to be that you will leave our office with better outcomes than those anticipated by the problems you brought to us to address.”

GRGB Law Welcomes Attorney John D. McNally To Their Civil And Fiduciary Litigation Group

McNally to the firm’s civil and fiduciary litigation team. Prior to joining the firm, John served as an Assistant City Attorney in Milwaukee, focusing on business licensing litigation and claims against the City. He is admitted to practice in Wisconsin and the federal court system.

While attending law school, Jack was a Summer Fellow at the Milwaukee Justice Center, providing assistance to self-represented litigants navigating the court system. Jack was inducted into the Pro Bono Honors Society as a result of his community service efforts.

Thirty-five winners were selected in five categories, including Leaders in the Law, Rising Young Lawyers, Unsung Heroes, Solo Firms and Diversity in the Law.
