March 18th, 2026, Proclaimed to be Frank Gimbel Day by Mayor Cavalier Johnson

Milwaukee, WI — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown (GRGB) is thrilled to announce that the City of Milwaukee proudly celebrates the 90th birthday of Franklyn (Frank) M. Gimbel on Wednesday, March 18th, 2026!

Franklyn M. Gimbel was born on March 18th, 1936, and grew up in the Sherman Park neighborhood. He graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1958 and then earned his law degree from Marquette University Law School. Frank began his career as an Assistant United States Attorney and then founded Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, L.L.P. in 1968. He has proudly worked for the citizens of Milwaukee as the Vice Chairman of the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission from 1977-1982 and was appointed to the Wisconsin Center District Board of Directors in 1994 where he was Chairperson for over a decade. Frank also has served as President of the Milwaukee Bar Association, the State Bar of Wisconsin Bar Association and was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from Marquette University in 2015.
