Erin M. Strohbehn Honored As 2017 “Leader in the Law” by the Wisconsin Law Journal
Milwaukee, WI — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown (GRGB) is proud to announce that Attorney Erin M. Strohbehn has been honored as a Leader in the Law by the Wisconsin Law Journal. Since 1986, the Wisconsin Law Journal has provided the latest in news and information lawyers and judges need to stay up-to-date. The Wisconsin law community honored 25 Leaders in the Law during the 17th annual event at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee on Thursday night.
Strohbehn is a Partner at GRGB and has been with the firm since 2006. As a Milwaukee native, Erin is dedicated to providing legal services to her hometown community. She has a well-rounded litigation practice, representing clients in civil, personal injury, insurance, employment and probate disputes. Erin focuses a portion of her practice on authoring trial and appellate briefs in all areas of the firm's practice.
Kathryn A. Keppel elected as Wisconsin Law Foundation Fellow
Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown LLP announced that Kathryn Keppel, partner in the firm’s office, has been elected as a Fellow of the Wisconsin Law Foundation. Wisconsin Law Foundation Fellows, who are selected annually, are recognized in the legal profession for outstanding attainment in professional, public, or private careers for devotion to the welfare of their community, state, and nation and the advancement of the legal profession.
Keppel is the firm’s lead appellate attorney and has authored scores of appellate and trial court briefs in all areas of GRGB’s practice. Kathy has successfully briefed winning appeals in matters as diverse as contract interpretation, spousal support, criminal and civil rights cases and procedural matters. Kathy also handles a large percentage of the firm's pretrial litigation obligations, including product liability defense and a variety of civil and criminal matters.

GRGB’s Founder, Franklyn Gimbel Presented Lifetime Achievement Award
Milwaukee, WI — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown LLP (GRGB) is proud to announce that firm founder, Franklyn L. Gimbel, was presented a Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquette University Law School during the Annual Alumni Awards Reception and Conferral.
Gimbel graduated from Marquette Law School in 1960 and has been impacting the Milwaukee community since that time. He founded GRGB after serving as an Assistant United States Attorney from 1963 through 1968. His experience as a federal prosecutor has proven invaluable in developing his successful private criminal defense law practice.
Over the years, Gimbel has expanded his practice into civil litigation, including complex business, employment, communications and First Amendment cases. He has represented small businesses and large corporations, as well as individuals including doctors, other lawyers and judges. No person's problem is too insignificant or too complicated.
Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown Announces Recognition of Six Super Lawyers
The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown (GRGB) has announced that six attorneys from their team have been recognized as Super Lawyers, by Super Lawyer Magazine.
The six individuals receiving this prestigious distinction include Michael Guerin, Franklyn Gimbel, Raymond Dall’Osto, Richard Reilly, Patrick Knight and Thomas Brown. “We have always been fortunate to staff the best and brightest attorneys in the State of Wisconsin,” notes GRGB Founding Partner, Franklyn Gimbel. “Our goal as a firm is to serve the community and our clients to the best of our abilities. This distinction shows that we are doing just that,” He adds.
The Super Lawyer designation is given to no more than five (5) percent of the lawyers in a given state. Recipients are selected based on peer nominations as well as careful analysis from an attorney-led research team. “The Super Lawyer designation is especially meaningful because it represents the opinions of our legal colleagues within the community. It is a great reminder of the oath we each took as young lawyers to uphold the law and act in the best interest of our clients,” Gimbel concludes.
