Andrew Flood is an Associate at Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Andrew is part of the criminal, appellate, and white-collar defense team with a caseload covering sensitive and serious cases. Notably, Andrew’s litigation practice has resulted in dismissals of charges for drugs, OWI, and sensitive crimes.

Andrew has tried multiple cases across Wisconsin where he is admitted to practice law. Andrew is also admitted to practice law in both the Eastern and Western U.S. District Courts in Wisconsin.

Andrew graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh cum laude with a major in Political Science, and minors in Criminal Justice and Law & Policy in 2021. During his studies, Andrew received the Chancellor’s Award for Excellence due to outstanding academic achievement and community leadership. He received his J.D. from Marquette University Law School with a Certificate in Litigation in 2024 while graduating in the top 25% of his class. Andrew also received CALI awards for Mental Health Law, Appellate Writing & Advocacy, and Trial Advocacy II—Criminal Law.

While attending law school, Andrew was a criminal law clerk for the Honorable Jennifer R. Dorow. Andrew also served as a research assistant for Professor Scott Idleman for issues of constitutional law and interpretation with a focus on firearms law and the Second Amendment. After that and before joining the firm, Andrew worked at the Waukesha County District Attorney’s Office where he gained experience in criminal pre-trial negotiations, investigations, motion practice, as well as jury trials.

Andrew was the director of a volunteer legal clinic at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh for students facing criminal charges, or civil lawsuits. In the Lake Country area, Andrew has been a firefighter for over a decade and is the third generation of his family doing so.
