Milwaukee, WI — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP, is proud to announce that Founding Partner Franklyn Gimbel has been awarded the Big Pi Award which is their Lifetime Achievement Award by Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity.
The celebration of Frank’s induction took place on Saturday, May 18th at the Pfister Hotel. The Big Pi Award is awarded to alumni Brothers who are held in high esteem by virtue of outstanding accomplishment which brings honor to the Brother and Pi Lambda Phi. It is the “Lifetime Achievement Award” for Pilam and the Big Pi Chapter has become a “who’s who” of well-regarded and famous Pilam alumni.

Keppel was presented the Bishop John Paul Distinguished Alumnus Award by Aquinas Catholic Schools at the Founders’ Day ceremony in her hometown of La Crosse, WI. This award is presented annually to a graduate of Aquinas who actively practices the Catholic faith, and has distinguished himself or herself in the community, made significant achievement in his or her chosen field, and demonstrated support for Aquinas Catholic Schools.
Keppel is a Partner at GRGB and the firm’s lead appellate attorney. She has authored scores of appellate and trial court briefs in all areas of GRGB’s practice. Kathy has successfully briefed winning appeals in matters as diverse as contract interpretation, spousal support, criminal and civil litigation cases and procedural matters. Wisconsin Law Foundation Fellows, who are selected annually, are recognized in the legal profession for outstanding attainment in professional, public, or private careers for devotion to the welfare of their community, state, and nation and the advancement of the legal profession.

Milwaukee, WI — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP (Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP) is proud to announce that firm founder, Franklyn L. Gimbel, was presented a Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquette University Law School during the Annual Alumni Awards Reception and Conferral.
Gimbel graduated from Marquette Law School in 1960 and has been impacting the Milwaukee community since that time. He founded GRGB after serving as an Assistant United States Attorney from 1963 through 1968. His experience as a federal prosecutor has proven invaluable in developing his successful private criminal defense law practice.
Over the years, Gimbel has expanded his practice into civil litigation, including complex business, employment, communications and First Amendment cases. He has represented small businesses and large corporations, as well as individuals including doctors, other lawyers and judges. No person's problem is too insignificant or too complicated.

Attorney Franklyn M. Gimbel was featured in a Fellows Spotlight interview for his achievement in becoming a Life Fellow at the American Bar Foundation.
The Fellows is an honorary organization of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession. Membership in the Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Members are nominated by their peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation.
