Franklyn M. Gimbel Honored as Life Fellow at the American Bar Foundation
Attorney Franklyn M. Gimbel was featured in a Fellows Spotlight interview for his achievement in becoming a Life Fellow at the American Bar Foundation.
The Fellows is an honorary organization of attorneys, judges, law faculty, and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession. Membership in the Fellows is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction. Members are nominated by their peers and elected by the Board of the American Bar Foundation.

The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP has announced that six attorneys from their team have been recognized as Super Lawyers, by Super Lawyer Magazine.
The six individuals receiving this prestigious distinction include Michael Guerin, Franklyn Gimbel, Raymond Dall’Osto, Patrick Knight and Thomas Brown. “We have always been fortunate to staff the best and brightest attorneys in the State of Wisconsin,” notes GRGB Founding Partner, Franklyn Gimbel. “Our goal as a firm is to serve the community and our clients to the best of our abilities. This distinction shows that we are doing just that,” He adds.
The Super Lawyer designation is given to no more than five (5) percent of the lawyers in a given state. Recipients are selected based on peer nominations as well as careful analysis from an attorney-led research team. “The Super Lawyer designation is especially meaningful because it represents the opinions of our legal colleagues within the community. It is a great reminder of the oath we each took as young lawyers to uphold the law and act in the best interest of our clients,” Gimbel concludes.

Keppel was presented the Bishop John Paul Distinguished Alumnus Award by Aquinas Catholic Schools at the Founders’ Day ceremony in her hometown of La Crosse, WI. This award is presented annually to a graduate of Aquinas who actively practices the Catholic faith, and has distinguished himself or herself in the community, made significant achievement in his or her chosen field, and demonstrated support for Aquinas Catholic Schools.
Keppel is a Partner at GRGB and the firm’s lead appellate attorney. She has authored scores of appellate and trial court briefs in all areas of GRGB’s practice. Kathy has successfully briefed winning appeals in matters as diverse as contract interpretation, spousal support, criminal and civil litigation cases and procedural matters. Kathy also handles a large percentage of the firm's pretrial litigation obligations, including product liability defense and a variety of civil and criminal matters.

The award, which will be presented on September 19, 2012, recognizes attorneys in the State of Wisconsin who are on the fast track in their law career and represent a strong character in both the practice of law as well as a community involvement.
"Jason's designation as an Up and Coming Lawyer in Wisconsin demonstrates what we have always known to be true about him. He represents the future generation of outstanding attorneys at GRGB," states Founding Partner, Franklyn Gimbel. "He serves GRGB's clients with energy and a forthright mindset and has developed a strong litigation practice. Luczak serves GRGB clients in a variety of practice areas that include both civil and criminal litigation. He has gained valuable courtroom experience, trying cases in state, federal and municipal courts throughout Wisconsin. He has argued before the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals in Chicago, and has prepared and filed a certiorari petition to the United States Supreme Court.

GRGB’s Founder, Franklyn Gimbel Presented Lifetime Achievement Award
Milwaukee, WI — The Milwaukee, Wisconsin based trial and litigation law firm, Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP (Gimbel, Reilly, Guerin & Brown, LLP) is proud to announce that firm founder, Franklyn L. Gimbel, was presented a Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquette University Law School during the Annual Alumni Awards Reception and Conferral.
Gimbel graduated from Marquette Law School in 1960 and has been impacting the Milwaukee community since that time. He founded GRGB after serving as an Assistant United States Attorney from 1963 through 1968. His experience as a federal prosecutor has proven invaluable in developing his successful private criminal defense law practice.
Over the years, Gimbel has expanded his practice into civil litigation, including complex business, employment, communications and First Amendment cases. He has represented small businesses and large corporations, as well as individuals including doctors, other lawyers and judges. No person's problem is too insignificant or too complicated.
