In 1968, after arguing some of the most
high profile cases of the day as a federal prosecutor for the Eastern
District of Wisconsin,
Franklyn M. Gimbel founded
his own law firm. Frank's late brother, Stanley P. Gimbel, joined the
firm in 1969, followed shortly thereafter
by former federal prosecutors Richard
E. Reilly and Thomas
E. Brown, and former Wisconsin Department of Justice Special Agent D.
Michael Guerin. In the mid-1980s Denis
J. Regan came aboard developing the
firm's business law, real estate and estate planning practices. A few
years later Kathryn
A. Keppel,
Patrick J. Knight, and Raymond
M. Dall'Osto brought
their appellate, litigation and trial experience to the firm. GRGB
continues to grow, adding Christopher
L. Strohbehn, Erin
M. Patterson and Steven
C. McGaver in the 2000s.
Today, almost forty years later, GRGB is recognized as one of the best
trial firms in the State of Wisconsin. The firm has successfully represented
individuals and businesses in a wide variety of cases, including business
litigation, business transactions, civil
litigation, criminal law, estate planning, family law, health
care/nursing home litigation, personal injury, probate, product liability
litigation, and real estate law. The firm's successes have resulted in referrals from other lawyers
and professionals, both in Wisconsin and in other states, who recognize
the expertise and unique skills of the firm's attorneys.
The firm's lawyers also dedicate substantial time and effort
to professional and charitable pursuits. Through the years, GRGB attorneys
have served as president of the State Bar of Wisconsin, president of
the Milwaukee Bar Association, Chairman of the Board of the Wisconsin Center District, and officers and directors of the ALS
Association - Wisconsin Chapter.
GRGB is truly a full-service law firm, encompassing the experience,
reputation, and capabilities of a large law firm while maintaining
the personalized service which its clients expect and deserve. |
